Keeping your pool clean and swimmers healthy:
One important aspect of the repair process involves making sure your pool’s filtration system is working adequately so the water remains clean. Dirty water may expose you and your family to dangerous microbes that could make you sick or cause a rash. We understand that this is the last thing you want to worry about while splashing around under the sun. Color and clarity are good indicators of the cleanliness of a pool, and when either look a little off, it may be time to let the professionals check out your filtration system and perform any necessary repairs.
Don’t let small details ruin your pool’s quality:
Like anything that isn’t brand-spanking new, over time, pools endure a great amount of wear and tear. Although this may seem natural, it should not be overlooked. Pool owners may want to try to recognize when it’s time to spruce up their pool. Decks, lights and tiles may need to be fixed from season to season, even if there are only small cracks or chips present. Repairing these issues sooner rather than later can save you from larger problems in the long-run and keep your pool running smoothly.
Let Churchill’s help:
When it comes to repairing your pool, there’s no reason to let yourself experience stress or anxiety. The professionals at Churchill’s are qualified and great at what they do, so why not let them take care of it? We don’t want you to miss out on any fun under the sun, so call us today. Below are some of the pool repair services we can provide.
At Churchill’s, we understand that cracking and chipping happens. Don’t let these issues preoccupy your thoughts while swimming. With a few quick repairs, Churchill’s can make sure your deck looks as good as new. In most instances, it is likely that there will be no need for a complete renovation.
Unfortunately, pipes don’t last forever. This is why it’s only natural to find yourself in need of replacing your pool’s plumbing. Luckily, you’ve come to the right place. Since the last thing you likely want to do is dig down into the ground, let us do the dirty work for you.
Do you like to relax after a stressful day by taking a nice, long dip in the pool? If so, you probably want to do this once the sun sets. In these situations, having lights installed can make your pool experience a better one. Churchill’s would be more than happy to illuminate your pool by installing or replacing broken or weathered lights. Incorporating LED lights into your design scheme will also allow you to have less of an impact on the environment and your electricity bill.
Tiles can make pools look clean and the water crisp. However, as the season passes, it’s natural for buildup to create an unsightly ring around the water line. When this happens, Churchill’s professionals can come to your pool’s rescue and eliminate any existing calcium and scum. In fact, in order to keep your pool in tip-top shape, you may want to have the tile cleaned once a season. Calcium buildup is a common problem in warmer climates and requires special equipment to remove. It may be best to schedule a tile cleaning with us before you begin using your pool regularly, but it can be done at any time of the year.
Part of being a pool owner is managing the quality of the water. Over time, it’s natural for pool water to evaporate. However, this leaves minerals and contaminants, such as sunscreen, dust and pool-maintenance chemicals, to become more concentrated than normal. This can make it difficult to balance the chemical levels in your pool, which is why it’s important to periodically drain old water and refill it with fresh water. Doing so can be a difficult task for pool owners, which is why Churchill’s is ready to help.
Like patio furniture and other outdoor accessories, your pool will inevitably get dirty. To keep it clean, you may want to consider letting Churchill’s professionals acid wash your pool. This process strips the top layer of plaster to reveal fresh plaster beneath.
Ever wish you could control the functionality of your pool and it’s features without having to go flip switches in a control box? You can with an automation system sold by Churchill’s. After some work by our professionals, you’ll be able to turn on your waterfall, pool and spa lights, heater, etc. from your remote control or your cell phone….yes, there’s an app for that!!
At Churchill’s, we want you to be comfortable in your pool. If you have a heater installed, like other pool features, they will require upkeep from time to time. In instances where the heater stops working or becomes damaged and requires some attention, we can lend a helping hand and restore it back to normal. If you don’t have a heater, but would like to have one installed, call today for your free quote.
Leaks can be a pool owner’s worst nightmare. The good news is that they can be easily fixed. Churchill’s is ready to find all leaks and repair them to get your pool back to normal in no time. Not sure if you actually have a leak? Call Churchill’s and let us take a look.
Are you looking to have a salt system installed? Or, have you noticed any problems with your current salt system? If so, reaching out to Churchill’s professionals may give you some piece of mind.
Pumps, Motors and Filters:
We’d love it if pools operated seamlessly forever once they were installed, but we understand that over time things happen. Pumps, motors and filters are crucial to the operation of your pool and unfortunately, they can malfunction. Luckily, Churchill’s is here for you, and our professionals are ready to repair or replace these components as need be. Note: Florida law now requires any replacement of a residential pool pump or pool pump motor exceeding .99HP to have the capability of running 2 or more speeds. Churchill’s recommends upgrading to a variable speed pump/motor when your current one stops working. The good news is that although this requires an initial investment, a variable speed motor or pump can save you between $600 and $1,300 on your electricity bill annually. When you’re in need of an update, Churchill’s will be at your pool to get you up and running.
Diatomaceous Earth filters (also known as D.E. Filters) need to be torn down from time to time. These filters are excellent for keeping your pool clean, which in turn can keep swimmers healthy, but they require maintenance. In addition to backwashing, you need to have a complete D.E. Teardown at least once a year to get rid of dirt trapped in the filters from the previous year. Churchill’s is more than happy to disassemble these units, thoroughly clean each grid and check for any cracks or holes that may affect the filtration process. Once everything is done, we will reassemble your D.E. Filters for you so you’re good to go for another year.
